These documents must be properly routed through the approval process and released in the system.

Responsibilities

  • Work from an internal missing drawings list compiled from parts lists across programs.

  • Contact suppliers and vendors via email or phone to request missing part drawings and completed supplier data management/change-notification forms.

  • Review incoming documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring correct drawing versus part number and the absence of missing fields or incomplete forms.

  • Upload documents into Unipoint and route them through approval workflows, including final approval from Certification Engineering.

  • Track the completion of tasks versus pending items, drive follow-ups, and ensure closure.

  • Escalate cases of supplier non-responsiveness through Procurement, Supply Chain, or Buyers when necessary.

  • Provide visibility through tracking logs and status updates.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in document control and engineering documentation.

  • Experience in supplier management and vendor coordination.

  • Strong skills in compliance, workflow management, and approval routing.

  • Capability to track data using Unipoint, PLM, and ERP systems.

  • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.

  • Proficiency in Excel and data entry accuracy.

  • Experience with quality assurance and quality management systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy across drawings and forms for compliance.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track high-volume requests from start to finish.

  • Proven communication skills with suppliers and vendors, including persistent follow-up via email and phone.

  • Comfortable working in a computer-based role, with the ability to learn new systems quickly with limited training.

  • Experience in driving document and process workflows through approvals to closure.

  • Procurement or supply chain exposure or supplier management is advantageous.

  • Experience with document control or compliance workflows, especially in regulated industries, is transferable.

  • Unipoint experience is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings is helpful but not required.
