What does the role entail?

Join our dynamic team as the Director of Outlets at The Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, where you will lead and inspire our food and beverage dining options to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee all Food and Beverage outlets throughout the resort with a primary focus on our two full-service restaurants, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to quality and service.
Duties include:
· Oversee food and beverage restaurants including Watertable and Pete’s Sunset Grille.
· Lead, motivate, and manage outlet managers and staff to ensure attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service.
· Maintain and improve operational standards to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
· Develop and implement strategies to continually increase sales revenues and surpass budget expectations.
· Monitor and control payroll and overhead costs to stay within budgeted targets.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all outlets.
· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and promotional initiatives.
· Analyze financial reports and operational data to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
· Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages professional development.
· Responsible for short- and long-term planning and the management of the Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of the house.
· Coordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service.
· Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
· Implement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction.
· Exercise quality control for both food and beverage.
· Maintaining Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation.
· Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards.
· Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews.
· Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures.

Qualifications
Your experience:
· A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
· Service oriented style with professional presentations skills.
· Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Demonstrated ability to increase sales and manage budgets effectively.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service.
· Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategic plans.
· 4 years or more of progressive hotel Food and Beverage experience (typically with Hyatt.)
· Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
· Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Must have excellent organizational and administrative skills.
· Experience implementing new F&B concepts preferred.
· Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
· Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances.
· California Food Handlers Certification required.
· CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification Required.
