JMT's Project Controls team is seeking a Construction Scheduler/Risk Management Professional for their Corporate office in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential risks on various construction projects related to Water and Sewer main infrastructure upgrades. This position supports project managers, engineers, and leadership by providing clear schedule visibility, identifying risks, and ensuring that project timelines remain realistic and achievable. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, proven experience in schedule risk management, and a professional certification such as AACE International’s DRMP.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $90,000.00. Salary range is based upon background, education, level of experience and project assignment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Tracks the status of critical activities impacting the project
Monitors program milestones and interdependencies
Analyzes project planning, schedule updates and delays
Provides alerts on items impacting the project schedule
Identifies the critical path and suggests alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
Develop strategies for negotiating claims
Provides technical support in claims litigation
Write and prepare technical reports
Attend meetings and lead discussions on project status
Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
Proficient with Asta Power Project and Primavera Project Management 6.0
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and Excel
Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings
Knowledge of contract procedures and principles
Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle Screening
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related technical field
Proven experience in construction schedule risk management
Strong analytical skills
Professional certification in AACE, CMAA, PMI, or PSP preferred
Minimum of 2 years Construction Management experience preferred
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
