Reports To: Regional Branch Manager

Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly), Part Time or Full Time

Location: 133 Main St., Hulett, WY82720

Supervises: None

 

Overview

Responsible for providing exceptional customer service at all times to all customers, internal and external.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote bank products and service to customers and potential customers and answer inquiries regarding all bank products and services.
  • Responsible for opening and closing duties at the branch.
  • Resolve issues and problems with customer accounts.
  • Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers, community members and co-workers.
  • Open and close accounts including checking, savings, money market, IRA, Certificate of Deposit and Safe Deposit Box accounts.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information at all times.
  • Identify referral opportunities and make relevant referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
  • Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at end of shifts, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
  • Cash checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
  • Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents.
  • Count currency, coins, and checks received, by hand or using currency-counting machine, to prepare them for deposit or shipment to branches or correspondent banks.
  • Identify transaction mistakes when debits and credits do not balance.
  • Assist customers with all transactions including ordering checks, processing loan payments, foreign deposits, selling and reloading reloadable cards, withdrawals, deposits and ordering debit cards.
  • Prepare and verify bank money orders.
  • Process transactions such as term deposits, retirement savings plan contributions, change orders, currency orders, coin counting, automated teller transactions, night deposits, and mail deposits.
  • Troubleshoot system issues as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Previous Teller or Customer Service Experience Preferred
  • 18 Months of General Work Experience Preferred
  • Must at least 18 years of age

**This position will require travel to other branches in the region for coverage. Travel will require operation of company vehicle so the applicant must possess a valid driver's license.
