Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Manufacturing Assembler in a well-established manufacturing facility known for its commitment to quality and safety. This role involves working in a team to construct various building components such as walls, floors, trusses, and stairs using a variety of tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

  • Construct building components such as walls, floors, and trusses using basic and powered hand tools.

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with 3-4 team members.

  • Operate machinery such as table saws and nail guns safely.

  • Accurately measure materials using a tape measure to 1/8 inch precision.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in reading a tape measure down to 1/8 inch.

  • Experience using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production team environment.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

  • Willingness to work 50 hours per week.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in framing or construction is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with nail guns and table saws is a plus.

  • Experience reading blueprints is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, spacious, and well-lit temperature-controlled production environment. Teams of 3-4 collaborate in various areas, with a strong emphasis on safety. Work hours vary slightly depending on the department, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours over 40 per week. Tools required for the job include a tool belt, tape measure, utility knife, and carpenter's pencil.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUGO, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
