Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 1st shift welder/fabricator to assist in completing complex stainless steel projects. This role involves reading welding blueprints, identifying welding callouts, determining component layouts, performing TIG welding, occasional MIG welding, finishing work, and handling secondary operations.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret welding blueprints.
Distinguish and apply welding callouts.
Determine and establish component layouts.
Perform TIG welding with a focus on stainless steel.
Occasionally perform MIG welding.
Conduct finishing work and secondary operations as required.
Essential Skills
A minimum of 4 years of TIG welding experience.
3 years of experience specifically in stainless steel TIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must own personal welding helmet and gloves.
Welders must possess their own tools, primarily metric.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a large fabrication shop specializing in stainless steel components that support the food production industry. The schedule is 1st shift, from 5:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
