TLC Child Development Center, Inc Lead Infant Teacher in Hudson, Ohio
TLC Academy for Young Children is seeking a full time Lead Infant Teacher for our 6 week - 18 month old classroom.
The Lead Infant teacher will work year round, Monday- Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
TLC Academy is a family owned small business with a "Reggio Emilia-Inspired" early childhood learning environment. Our commitment to low-ratios and small group sizes allows us to put these practices into action. We believe that children are born with a sense of wonder and it is our job as teachers to facilitate and cultivate their natural instinct to learn.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Prior child care experience
- Understands what is age appropriate as far as goals, classroom dynamics and communication
- Ability to problem solve, effectively plan, organize and execute educational activities
- Passionate about working with infants
- Calm and patient nature with a desire to learn and grow; must be flexible and able to handle change
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
- Enjoys working in a team environment, and is willing to go above and beyond what is required and assist others whenever possible
- Good communication skills both verbally and written- must be comfortable with daily communication to parents
- High School diploma/GED is required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Must pass a criminal background check
