Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay: $18–$22 per hour ($37,440–$45,760 annually)
Paid Time Off: Start with 48 hours, increasing to 168 hours with tenure

Role Overview
As a Procurement Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our procurement team by organizing critical information, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless project execution. Based in Hudson, FL, this role offers opportunities to specialize based on your expertise or geographic needs while upholding BGIS’s commitment to professionalism, safety, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities Procurement Activities
Coordinate estimating work following established processes.
Review specifications and customer requirements to determine quality and methods.
Source material pricing and prepare proposals for customers.
Update job statuses via third-party platforms and communicate with customers.
Order parts, track deliveries, and coordinate with the dispatch team for installation scheduling.
Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Support additional procurement initiatives as needed.
Business Functions & Project Support
Prioritize organizational needs, ensuring timely delivery of cost estimates and project tracking.
Process warranties for residential and commercial clients.
Maintain procurement databases and reports for reference.
Assist with special projects and provide geographic or expertise-based support.

Required Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or additional education is a plus.
Minimum 1 year of estimating or transferable experience; HVAC industry experience preferred.
