Job Description
Join a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, specializing in metal stamping presses. As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in installing hardware, relays, power supplies, and PLCs to presses. Your expertise in wiring, based on schematics developed by electrical engineers, will be essential. Additionally, you will utilize tools such as multimeters, voltage detectors, and cable tracers to ensure all components have the correct voltages. Modifying equipment and assisting in mechanical assembly will also be part of your dynamic role.
Responsibilities
Install hardware, relays, power supplies, and PLCs to metal stamping presses.
Follow schematics provided by electrical engineers to wire presses.
Use multimeters, voltage detectors, and cable tracers to verify correct voltages for all components.
Modify equipment as required to meet specifications.
Assist in the mechanical assembly process as needed.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in assembling large machinery or capital equipment.
2+ years of experience in electrical testing using multimeters, voltage detectors, and cable tracers.
2+ years of experience reading symbols on schematics.
2+ years of experience reading symbols on blueprints and working with PLCs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huber Heights, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
