Description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Sous Chef is responsible to assist in managing kitchen operation at White Cottage as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the Figs kitchen operation and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally with a Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.

  • Proven experience as Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in upscale dining environments

  • Deep understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance standards

  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize kitchen workflows

  • Good command of English and computer skills particularly in the use of MS Office, Email and general computer literacy
