Are you a recent graduate or a junior professional looking to kickstart your career in a world-class software company? We are seeking a motivated and curious Junior SW QA Engineer to join our PERC QA team. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to learn from the best and grow within the field of Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
The Role:
As a Junior QA Engineer, you will work under close supervision and mentorship to ensure the quality and performance of our Calibre PERC product. We don’t expect you to know everything yet – we are looking for a strong foundation in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering and a quality-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be part of a team responsible for testing and debugging software releases. As you grow in the role, your responsibilities will include:
Actively participating in training to understand our software lifecycle and QA methodologies.
Assisting in running and maintaining test plans and basic test cases.
Supporting senior engineers in regular testing to ensure the stability of new features.
Identifying and documenting software defects while working closely with developers to understand the fixes.
Contributing your fresh perspective to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Technical Foundation: Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Perl, or Tcl).
Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems (academic projects or internships are welcome).
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
Any exposure to VLSI design concepts or semiconductor flows during your studies will be a plus.
