Job Duties :
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for site warehouse and material management operations. Through systematic management and the application of Lean tools, this role ensures material accuracy, stable material availability, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes to support production and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations including material receiving, put-away, storage, picking, and shipping
Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately and timely recorded in the ERP / WMS system
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, discrepancy analysis, and corrective actions
Establish and maintain inventory control logic for critical materials to prevent material shortages while optimizing utilization of existing warehouse space through effective storage planning and layout management
Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and related functions to ensure materials are available according to production plans
Apply Lean tools such as 5S, standard work, and process improvement to optimize warehouse workflows and improve operational efficiency
Support warehouse-related audits, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives as required
Ensure compliance with Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety requirements and promote safe forklift operation
Supervise and support bonded warehouse operations to ensure compliance with customs regulations, bonded procedures, and internal controls
*Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or material management
Hands-on experience with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
Solid understanding of inventory control principles and material flow management
Knowledge or practical experience with Lean tools (e.g., 5S, standard work, continuous improvement)
Basic knowledge of PIT safety and bonded warehouse operations is preferred
Strong attention to data accuracy and system discipline
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on preventing material shortages
