Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Pharmacy Supervisor, you will assure the continuous management of pharmacy inventory (purchases, posting charges, executing returns) and maintain/adjust par levels of inventory in main pharmacy and in automatic dispensing system. What You Will Do In This Role:
You will mentor and instruct pharmacy technician, pharmacy students and other personnel as per hospital policies and procedures.
You must make complex decisions regarding staffing, assignments, patient and interpersonal relationships.
You must be able to set priorities, organize work, delegate duties and objectively evaluate and implement opportunities for improvement.
You will assure the delivery of continuous quality pharmacy service to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients by adequately accomplishing position responsibilities according to the standard procedures so that all drugs are handled, packed, prepared and charged according to current policies and practices.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certification is required.
IV Certification is required.
