Job overview and responsibilities
Maintenance Training Supervisors duties include the oversight of the Maintenance Training program in accordance with Regulatory and
Company guidelines
Responsible for the oversight of the design, development, and delivery of training to technical operations personnel as well as supplier companies
This is to include the development of computer based training when necessary
Will assist the Maintenance Training Instructors and Designated Instructors to achieve and maintain a high level of competency with regard to the aircraft and systems classes assigned to them
This is to include the following: Monitor and prioritize current and future training needs
Identify and allocate resources to meet development and training requirements
Primary liaison between instructors and other departments as needed to achieve departmental goals
Manage daily administrative tasks such as time and attendance, comp time, overtime, vacations, monitoring instructor expenses, and etc.
Provide training programs to Tech Ops employees
Monitor training needs to ensure programs and materials are with CFR 14 Part 121.375 and Company Ops Specs
Evaluation of teaching techniques and continued improvement opportunities
Evaluate classroom and coach instructors to maintain constant and current readiness flow
Interact with other departments to ensure technical data is readily available to departmental staff
Daily administrative tasks
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
FAA A&P License
2 years in aircraft maintenance industry
Technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance operations, and applicable FAA regulations
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Aviation related degree
A&P and FCC
5 years in aircraft maintenance industry and/or 2 years in a leadership role within a maintenance organization including a unionized labor workforce
A proven successful track record
Familiarity with FAA-H-8083-9 Rev A Aviation Instructors Handbook
Maintenance training instructor experience
Salary Paragraph
MGT - The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

The base pay range for this role is $132,421.50 to $161,848.50.
