Role Summary:

The Senior Project Manager for Process Governance and Tools plays a critical role in advancing Flowserve’s Engineered Pumps project performance through data analytics, MS Project scheduling insights, and development of reporting and workflow tools. • Develop and manage MS Project schedules, converting schedule data into actionable governance insights and reporting tools.

• Define and implement project management tools that enhance financial performance, on‑time delivery, and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain governance mechanisms to ensure projects meet timelines, targets, and defined operating parameters.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and deployment of project management maturity assessments at Flowserve sites.

• Collaborate with functional managers to optimize project personnel utilization, work allocation, and training needs.

• Facilitate or attend meetings with platform leaders and stakeholders to address process deviations and drive improvements.

• Provide both strategic and tactical support to project teams, ensuring communication clarity, schedule monitoring, and disciplined workflow adoption.

• Assist in developing and delivering training for process governance tools, reporting tools, and workflow systems.

• Serve as an advocate for strong project management practices across the Engineered Pumps organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or manufacturing

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering environments

• Strong data analytics capability with a proven ability to convert complex project and process data into dashboards and meaningful insights

• High proficiency in MS Project, including schedule creation, analysis, and reporting

• Proficiency with Power BI and automated workflow software

• Experience working in a matrixed environment

• Experience with process improvement or procedure development

• Experience working directly with external customers

• Ability to travel up to 10%, including possible international travel

• Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently with a self‑starter mindset

Preferred:

• PMP or similar project management certification
