Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Hyland OnBase Consultant to support, maintain, and enhance our enterprise content management (ECM) environment. This role is responsible for day-to-day OnBase administration, user support, system configuration, and ongoing optimization of workflows and integrations. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, a proactive mindset, and experience working in a production OnBase environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and support the Hyland OnBase platform, including user security, document types, workflows, queues, and system settings
Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for OnBase-related incidents, service requests, and production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Hyland support or internal teams as needed
Design, configure, and maintain OnBase workflows, lifecycle rules, and automation to support business processes
Manage user access, roles, and permissions in accordance with security and compliance requirements
Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, including testing and validation
Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and implement system improvements
Collaborate with solution developers, DBAs, infrastructure, and InfoSec to ensure a stable and secure platform
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
3–6 years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Hyland OnBase in an enterprise production environment
Active Hyland OnBase certification (e.g., System Administration, Workflow, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of OnBase architecture, document management, workflows, and security models
Experience troubleshooting OnBase issues related to workflows, integrations, users, and performance
Strong experience with SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and reporting
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through resolution
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Unity Client, Web Client, Unity Forms, and related modules
Demonstrated success planning/executing OnBase upgrades and module installs with minimal downtime
Scripting/automation experience for operational tasks and deployment hygiene
Experience with monitoring/alerting tools and log aggregation; JIRA or similar ITSM
Solid grasp of backup/DR, high availability concepts, and change management (ITIL)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting OnBase integrations with ERP, HR, finance, or case management systems
Experience with integrations with Hyland OnBase (Salesforce, MuleSoft, SAP, GCP, etc.)
Experience with change management, release management, or ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated environments
Prior experience working in a matrixed or enterprise-scale organization

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $71,700.00 - $167,200.00.
