Security Supervisor – High-Rise

Location: Houston, TX 77019

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Security Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a high-end high-rise property in the River Oaks area.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing a team of 5 officers, maintaining operational standards, and serving as a key point of contact for property management and company leadership.

This position requires a candidate who takes full ownership of the site, team performance, and overall security operations . Only experienced leaders with a strong background in security supervision and operations will be considered.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Supervise, manage, and support a team of 5 security officers

  • Ensure all officers are performing duties in accordance with post orders and site expectations

  • Maintain accountability, discipline, and consistent performance across the team

  • Serve as the primary liaison between property management and company leadership

  • Address and resolve staff issues, performance concerns, and operational challenges

  • Lead by example in professionalism, appearance, and conduct at all times

Operational Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily security operations for the property

  • Review Daily Activity Reports (DARs) for accuracy, consistency, and quality

  • Ensure all patrols and assigned duties are completed as required

  • Develop, update, and enforce post orders and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Identify security risks and implement effective solutions

  • Assist with scheduling, coverage, and overall site organization as needed

Training & Development

  • Train, coach, and develop security officers to meet site standards

  • Ensure all team members understand and follow site procedures and expectations

  • Continuously reinforce professionalism, report writing, and operational execution

Minimum Requirements (Strictly Enforced)

  • Minimum 1 year of security management/supervisory experience (REQUIRED)

  • Experience managing teams and overseeing daily security operations

  • Proven experience in coaching, training, and developing security personnel

  • Experience creating or managing post orders and SOPs

  • Strong understanding of security operations and best practices

  • Must live within 20 miles of ZIP code 77019

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Important Note

This is not an entry-level leadership role . Candidates must already have experience in security supervision and operations. Training will not be provided on basic supervisory or security management functions.
