ManpowerGroup Production Operator - 5 in Houston, Texas
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the paints and coatings industry, is seeking a Production Operator - 5 to join their team. As a Production Operator - 5, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the manufacturing and production processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Operator - 5
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range:
Shift: 3rd shift: operations are from 10pm - 6:30am; OT as needed
What's the Job?
Execute assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost standards are met.
Take ownership of production assets, ensuring they are operated safely and according to established guidelines and industry best practices.
Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administrative tasks following procedures and control systems.
Report safety, quality, or other issues related to products or processes to the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to investigations of safety or quality issues, including customer complaints and reject batches.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and obtain certification.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and multi-task.
Physical ability to lift containers up to 75 lbs, stand or walk for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
