Crescent Hotels and Resorts PM Shift Line Cook in Houston, Texas
Description

Required Skills & Abilities:
-At least two (2) years of hotel culinary or restaurant line cook experience required
-Flexible to work PM, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays up at least 12:30am
-Must have the ability to communicate in English, both verbal and written
-Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
-Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
-Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Current Food Handler Certification required
Job Description:
-Prepare food according to recipe and ensure portion, quality and presentation standards are consistently met
-Date all food containers, consistently use FIFO method, make sure all perishables are properly stored and note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages
-Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation for line set up
-Consistently practice sanitation procedures to refrain from cross contamination, maintain cleanliness and sanitization of workstation and kitchen equipment
