ManpowerGroup Part Time Communication Specialist in Houston, Texas
Our client, a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector , is seeking a Communication Specialist to join their team part-time in Downtown Houston, TX . As a Communication Specialist, you will be part of the Internal Communications & Engagement team supporting company-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a people-focused approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Communication Specialist
Location: Downtown Houston, TX, [In-office, with occasional travel to Beaumont and Sabine Pass Terminal]
Pay Range: $30.00/HR + Benefits
Contract Duration: 6+ Month W2 Contract, likely extension
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week. 3 days a week in the office. Flexible on which days but needs to be consistent (i.e., M, Tu, W or M, W, F). *Hours: 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm (flexible).
Job Function:
Execute day-to-day internal communications and engagement activities to foster a connected and informed workforce.
Create and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including email, intranet, and digital signage.
Support HR messaging, including policy updates, recognition programs, and organizational initiatives.
Manage communication channels, including the company intranet and digital signage, ensuring content is current and accessible.
Plan and execute internal campaigns and engagement events that promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in internal communications, marketing support, or communications coordination (3-6 years preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus.
Strong graphic skills with the ability to design and enhance visual content for presentations and intranet posts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, especially PowerPoint and SharePoint, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred).
