ManpowerGroup Part Time Communication Specialist in Houston, Texas

Our client, a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector , is seeking a Communication Specialist to join their team part-time in Downtown Houston, TX . As a Communication Specialist, you will be part of the Internal Communications & Engagement team supporting company-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a people-focused approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Job Title: Communication Specialist

  • Location: Downtown Houston, TX, [In-office, with occasional travel to Beaumont and Sabine Pass Terminal]

  • Pay Range: $30.00/HR + Benefits

  • Contract Duration: 6+ Month W2 Contract, likely extension

  • Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week. 3 days a week in the office. Flexible on which days but needs to be consistent (i.e., M, Tu, W or M, W, F). *Hours: 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm (flexible).

Job Function:

  • Execute day-to-day internal communications and engagement activities to foster a connected and informed workforce.

  • Create and distribute engaging content across various platforms, including email, intranet, and digital signage.

  • Support HR messaging, including policy updates, recognition programs, and organizational initiatives.

  • Manage communication channels, including the company intranet and digital signage, ensuring content is current and accessible.

  • Plan and execute internal campaigns and engagement events that promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in internal communications, marketing support, or communications coordination (3-6 years preferred).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is a plus.

  • Strong graphic skills with the ability to design and enhance visual content for presentations and intranet posts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, especially PowerPoint and SharePoint, with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred).
