Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain a variety of machinery, including CNC and manual production machines. The technician will perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on equipment, as well as preventive maintenance on forklifts. The role requires troubleshooting equipment using electrical instruments such as digital multi-meters and Meg-Ohmmeters, and repairing electrical systems with voltages up to 480VAC. A strong understanding of electrical and motor controls circuitry is essential.
Responsibilities
Repair and maintain a variety of machinery, including CNC and manual production machines.
Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs on equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on forklifts and properly maintain equipment by lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment using electrical instruments such as digital multi-meters and Meg-Ohmmeters.
Repair electrical systems with voltages up to 480VAC.
Identify equipment that is not performing to expectations using sound, meters, and visual inspection.
Perform facility maintenance as needed on facility equipment, such as gates, road stoppers, doors, light bulb changes, HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems.
Essential Skills
7+ years of maintenance experience.
Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
Experience with electrical troubleshooting on 480V systems.
Strong understanding of electrical and motor controls circuitry.
Proficient in preventive maintenance and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Facility maintenance experience is a plus.
Experience maintaining CNC/Manual Machines is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very clean and well-maintained shop with air conditioning. The working hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as needed.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
