Insight Global Lead Systems Analyst in Houston, Texas
Job Description
We have a midstream oil & gas customer looking for a Senior Systems Analyst, who can help build out the company's AI footprint within their applications. This person needs to be looking to sit 5 days/week onsite in downtown Houston. They will be involved in development, project management, analysis and production support. They need to have expertise in ElasticSearch and AWS platforms, to support application development from the installation stage, through CI/CD, pushing out codes and passing on scripts to the DevOps team. They will be customer facing on a daily basis. They should be proficient in supporting AI applications on the back end, with a focus React and Python programming. This person should be seeking a salary range of 150-165k depending upon experience and should have a minimum of 8-10 years experience.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited university
5 years exp. with content management systems, client uses Oracle WebCenter
2-3 years with hands on on experience with ElasticSearch, OneSearch or other Vector Databases for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and semantic search
2-3 years experience with developing applications using React and Python programming
2-3 years working experience in AWS Cloud or Azure or Snowflake Cloud
Familiarity with AI frameworks (HuggingFace, LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
Knowledge of prompt engineering, evaluation strategies, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
Strong understanding of search relevance engineering, ranking models, BM25, hybrid search and personalization strategies
Understanding of Oracle and MariaDB/MySQL databases Certifications in AWS or Azure or other cloud certs
Strong understanding of ECM concepts including taxonomies, metadata modeling, search design and security
3-5 years experience with developing applications using Java, Spring Boot
Experience with UiPath or other RPA tools
Ability to support & maintain application environments on Linux, Windows and Docker/Kubernetes env.
Experience with Agile methologies preferred
Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines, GitHub actions
