Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs on a wide array of production equipment. This role involves working on industrial sewers, presses, conveying systems, compressing/rolling machines, foam cutters, and other automated production machines with numerous small parts. The technician will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, robotic, and pneumatic systems while conducting routine preventative maintenance and logging activities in the CMMS.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, robotic, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and log activities in the CMMS.
Work with industrial sewers, presses, conveying systems, compressing/rolling machines, and foam cutters.
Essential Skills
4+ years of maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics.
Strong skills in PLC and electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in automation or robotic maintenance is a plus.

Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled facility. The work schedule is the 2nd shift, from 4:00 PM to between 11:30 PM and 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
