Hunton Services is seeking to hire experienced Heavy Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team to provide service in and around the Greater Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate will need to establish and manage healthy customer relationships, have professional and effective communication skills and be proactive in conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:
Service, Repair, Startup, and Installation of Reciprocating, Rotary, and Centrifugal chillers (all tonnage)
Service and Retrofit HVAC building ancillary equipment and controllers
Able to service and troubleshoot building systems
Capable of servicing Cooling Tower systems and maintenance
Perform Maintenance Inspections per scope

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods throughout the workday.
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access rooftops and elevated equipment safely.
Ability to work in confined spaces, mechanical rooms, and varying indoor and outdoor environments.
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools, equipment, gauges, and electronic devices.
Ability to bend, twist, reach overhead, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to work in a range of environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, dust, and noise.
Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively to diagnose equipment issues and ensure safe operations.
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel to customer sites throughout the Greater Houston area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 5 yrs. experience servicing Trane and other OEM equipment
Experience with boilers and Variable Frequency drives is a plus
Strong Systems knowledge (airside, waterside, controls)
Strong communication and organizational skills
EPA refrigerant certification
Flexibility on schedule, overtime work is common
Tech certifications and Factory training are a plus
Ability to build relationships in a trusted advisor role with customers
Comply with the Hunton Safety Standards, which include OSHA and EPA regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Possess a valid Texas driver's license with a safe driving record (no violations within the past 3 years), ability to pass a background check, and pre-employment drug test
