Job Description

At Omega Builders Group LP, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Keyer. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering a wide variety of data into our systems, ensuring the integrity and consistency of information. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data into company databases with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper files to ensure easy retrieval and reference.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather and validate information.
  • Meet daily and weekly data entry targets and deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries as required.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure ongoing data integrity.
  • Support other administrative tasks as needed to contribute to the smooth operation of the office.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry software.
  • Strong keyboarding skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data entry or related administrative roles.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, such as copiers and scanners.
  • Experience in the construction or real estate industry is a plus but not required.
