Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The role involves resolving complex issues with electronic equipment and supporting the integration with SCADA systems and telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in firmware updates and sensor and communication module troubleshooting, ensuring smooth operations and seamless integration.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve complex issues with electronic equipment.
Conduct firmware updates to maintain system efficiency.
Troubleshoot sensor and communication modules.
Support integration with SCADA systems and telemetry.
Interpret engineering requirements and data to ensure compliance and functionality.
Handle installation, commissioning, and calibration of gas meters and electronic connectors.
Essential Skills
Proven experience with SCADA systems.
Experience working with electronic gas meters.
Proficiency in firmware updates.
Competence with diagnostic tools and software interfaces.
Experience in measurement products, electrical, software engineering, and systems engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SCADA integration.
Knowledge of electronics and gas measurement.
Work Environment
The position requires domestic travel during the work week, with no weekend travel. You will be working within a small, collaborative team comprising only 1-2 other individuals. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
