System One Clean Utilities Project Manager in Houston, Texas
CLEAN UTILITIES PROJECT MANAGER (PHARMA/GMP) Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Type: Contract (40 hrs/week) Overview We are seeking an experienced Clean Utilities Project Manager to lead the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification support of clean utility systems for pharmaceutical / GMP-regulated manufacturing facilities. Projects include Purified Water, WFI, Clean Steam, process gases, clean compressed air, and related utility infrastructure supporting production operations. What You’ll Do - Lead clean utility projects from design through installation, commissioning, and qualification support - Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, actions, and issue resolution - Coordinate across Engineering, Quality, Validation, Operations, contractors, and vendors to ensure safe and compliant execution - Drive change control, turnover packages, and documentation deliverables - Provide clear stakeholder communication and regular project reporting What We’re Looking For - Experience delivering clean utilities projects (design, install, commissioning/startup) - Background in pharma/biotech or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments - Working knowledge of Purified Water, WFI, Clean Steam, process gases, and clean compressed air systems - Familiarity with commissioning and qualification support activities and GMP documentation (e.g., turnover packages, change control, protocols as applicable) - Strong contractor/vendor coordination and communication skills If you’re interested, please apply with an updated resume highlighting relevant clean utilities project experience.
