Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a General Labor to join their team. As a General Labor, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $15.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift - 4pm-2am Monday through Thursday
Job Summary
Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production machinery according to standard operating procedures
Set up machines, load materials, and make basic adjustments as needed
Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns
Follow all safety policies, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout when applicable
Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S/housekeeping standards)
Accurately complete production and quality documentation
Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams
