Advanced Field Service Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction and Site Survey, coordination with IB Migration COE.
Collection of right system data from the legacy system needed for analysis using proprietary Honeywell tools.
Analyze the Migration requirements for specific system block and its interdependencies with other system blocks.
Risk analysis and provide Risk mitigation actions Planning the migration sequences considering the intendancies and produce alternate solutions wherever needed to reduce plant down time during migration.
Acquiring clarity on Plant/Units which can be taken up for Migration in a specific year/quarter.
Initiating discussions with Honeywell Install Base Migration COE (Center of Excellence) team for Risk mitigation during Migration.
Cluster wise E-Technology Migration.
Responsible for producing Migration Methodology for overall system migration of our large LCM program which will include several Migration methodology subset procedures that will be specific to part of the plant’s overall architecture/geography.
Existing system software release upgrade.
Existing Hardware/Firmware release upgrade.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related field, and 5 years of experience with configuring, maintaining, and solving hardware and software issues including: Experion PKS, LCN, TPS or any other DCS hardware / software such as Siemens, Emerson Yokogawa etc.
Must have 5 years of experience with the following: PC/Networking experience; 3rd Party controls experience; and experience in Virtualization hardware/software, setup and network configuration and switch configuration knowledge.
Must have a valid driver's license required.
Up to 75% domestic travel is required.
