Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Administrative Assistant - Enterprise Communications through April 23rd , 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time ).

Chevron is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to five leaders on the Enterprise Communications Leadership Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to execute quickly while managing multiple priorities with discretion and precision.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support with a high degree of independence, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Manage complex, dynamic calendars and schedules for multiple leaders simultaneously.

  • Anticipate leadership needs, track critical action items, and ensure timely completion through follow‑up and coordination.

  • Plan and manage off-sites and multi‑day meetings and team events.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, track expenses and compile accurate expense reports on time.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities of employees and contractors.

  • Create, submit, and manage requests in SMART by GEP, and pay invoices via Chevron systems or pcard.

  • Maintain distribution lists and provide general office management support (e.g. supplies, visitor access, light information management IT support).

  • Handle special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an administrative assistant or similar support role.

  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple senior leaders at the same time while managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and completing work in a timely manner.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eight (8) or more years of experience in similar roles.

  • Experience using SMART by GEP, CTREX, and related Chevron systems and policies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and apply new technologies to increase efficiency.

  • Strong peer network within the administrative assistant community; willingness to collaborate, share best practices, and simplify work.

Relocation Options:

Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
