Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)
Location: House Springs, MO
Pay Rate: $57 per hour
Assignment: Maternity Leave Coverage
Duration: April through End of School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–3:45 PM
Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will support elementary students (K–5th) by conducting evaluations, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with individualized plans of care and physician orders. This role supports student communication success within the school environment.
Responsibilities
Perform speech-language evaluations for elementary-aged students.
Deliver therapy services based on each student’s plan of care.
Document all services, evaluations, and progress accurately and promptly.
Participate in IEP meetings as required.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary school teams.
Maintain adherence to professional, ethical, and district standards.

Minimum Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Missouri.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; may be required per state/contract.
Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR certification (if applicable).
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
Current health certificate per contract or state requirements.
Must meet all federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
