Position Summary

LJJ Construction LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on construction projects. This role is responsible for site safety, scheduling support, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and job documentation. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Superintendent helps keep projects on schedule, supports efficient execution, and upholds LJJ Construction's standards for workmanship, professionalism, and job site performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on active construction sites
• Lead job site coordination and help maintain steady project progress
• Support project schedules through planning, communication, and follow-up
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and site activity
• Promote and enforce job site safety and professionalism
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Monitor workmanship and help maintain quality standards
• Manage daily reports, progress documentation, manpower tracking, and site updates
• Identify and help resolve field issues quickly and effectively

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of commercial and industrial construction practices
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and project documents
• Experience leading crews and coordinating subcontractors on active job sites
• Knowledge of job site safety standards and safe work practices
• Experience with daily reporting, documentation, timecard review, and basic construction communication technology
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel to assigned job sites as needed

Location
