Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to support our engineering team with the design, analysis, and documentation of repairs for structural systems. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment and exposure to real-world projects involving structural design, inspection, and construction support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers with structural design calculations for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
Prepare and update engineering drawings and plans using CAD and/or BIM software (AutoDesk, PolyWorks, SolidWorks etc.).
Conduct structural analysis under the guidance of licensed engineers using engineering software and engineering fundamentals.
Review project specifications, drawings, and codes to support engineering tasks.
Help prepare technical documents, design packages, and submittals.
Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited program.
Completed coursework in structural analysis, statics, mechanics of materials, and related areas.
Familiarity with CAD software preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment across multiple disciplines.
