Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.
Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.
To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Completes a comprehensive assessment on patients of all ages including patient screening and contraindications.
Obtains pertinent medical history from patients by observation or with oral communication.
Performs patient assessment to determine: Patient’s physical ability to undergo the imaging procedure as needed. What patient care is needed during the procedure. What modification of the procedure may be required by the age of the patient. If there are contraindications to performing the procedure as ordered.
Utilizes patient clinical assessment and patient clinical history in making professional judgment that supports the plan of patient care and properly documents the patient assessment and clinical history.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

Required
Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT), upon hire or
graduate of a military program accredited by JRCERT, upon hire
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, within 12 - months and
Medical Radiographer: AR, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days and
Preferred
Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or
Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
Positron Emission Tomogrography, upon hire or
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire

Pay Range
$24.27 - $36.10 /hour
