We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspector based in Hot Springs, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Contract Services Inspector, you will plan, coordinate, and inspect the fieldwork performed by outside contractors with the objective of assuring that work conforms to company standards, specifications, and schedules. Work includes but is not limited to installation, operation, repair of gas mains and service lines and service-related work that is performed at the customers meters.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Observe and inspect all phases of work performed by contractors to assure conformance with company standards and procedures. Interpret blueprints and drawings of work to be performed.Plan projects and ensure compliance; may assign and complete work orders in SAP.Verify billed amounts and approves contractor/vendor charges.Schedule and inspect work performed by one or more contract crews Performs other duties as assigned.
