Location for this role is at Hosur
Import Logistics Manager.
In this role you will:
Maintain import documents.
Process customs duty & update Charge Model in M3 (ERP).
Submission of import documents to finance for payment process.
Reconcile & Submission of service provider bills for payment process.
Maintaining of customs duty payment & service provider bill submission report.
Import shipment booking via DHL/FedEx.
Checklist approval for impot shipments.
Coordinate with Forwarders, CHA on pickup & delivery of shipments.
Coordinate with Finance, IDM, Purchase, SCM for import laisoning.
Transportation Management
Origin / Freight / Last Mile Transportation Tracking and Management
EXIM Compliance
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (with a minimum of
1-2 years of experience in a Logistics of Manufacturing units)
Overall experience 10-12 years
Desired Characteristics
Experience in Fulfillment / Purchasing and writing fulfillment reports using MS Office
Experience with ERP system
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
PC and database proficiency with excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong Knowledge of Ocean / Air Market
Conversant with IATA / IMO Rules and Regulations
Strong relationship with Liners/Carriers and Freight Forwarders
