We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a HR Business Partner, supporting our brand new Fulfillment Center in Horsley Park.
This is a newly created, high profile role, both strategic and hands-on, that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our new site.
Working with our Site Lead and Senior Managers the role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
The role will be based on-site working Monday - Friday including working early evenings one day per week.
Key job responsibilities
What you will be doing:
• Supporting the end to end launch of a new Fullfillment Centre site
• Working in partnership with Site Lead delivering the site vision in terms of culture and people experience
• Coaching and Business Partnering of Senior & Functional Leaders
• Advocate, promote and enable the uptake of self service tools across associates and leadership
• Implement HR initiatives to drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations, inclusion and communications
• Maintain an emphasis on continuous improvement and best practices to be shared and execute project across Amazon Operations
• Advocate and instill mechanisms which actively collect and respond to employee voice and promote associate experience
• Collaborate effectively across an number of internal and external teams including Finance, Payroll, Legal
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of HR work within an international, fast-paced or customer-driven environment experience
You will have a true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
A passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
Demonstrated ability to positively persuade and influence: you’re a skilled negotiator
Proven affinity for working in large scale workforce management
Knowledge of Australian labour laws
Ability to provide meaningful, educational HR advice to Fulfillment Centre teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in human resources with companies supporting 250-500 or more associates
Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment
