Hopkinsville Community CollegeKentucky Community and Technical College SystemHuman Resources Partner IIPosition #10016717Monthly Salary - $3,490Open Date: 04/16/26Close Date: 04/26/26KCTCS is an equal opportunity employer and educational institution.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe primary purpose of the full-time Human Resources Partner II is to coordinate a wide range of HR duties including recruitment, retention, HRMS, benefits, and employee records maintenance.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES1.Coordinate recruitment for Hopkinsville Community College. Duties include the following:•Prepare job announcements and advertisements. Assist with steering committee responsibilities. Track employment process for steering committee chair, and prepare summaries for administrative review.•Prepare and monitor adjunct postings in PageUp. Work closely with Division Chairs on processing interested candidates to increase the pool. Assist Division Chairs and Program Coordinators as needed.•Retain and monitor employment matrix on hires, onboarding, advertising, length from posting to hire, demographics, etc.•Assist in preparing salary quotes.•Recommend changes in advertising techniques to increase candidate pool, utilizing a variety of media.2.Coordinate HRMS for HCC. Duties include the following:•Perform PeopleSoft data entry that includes hiring, termination, data changes, etc.•Monitor daily report and error reports, working closely with Senior HR Partner to correct errors.•Monitor departmental payroll submissions, verifying the fee schedule matches the assignment load on the document.3.Coordinate electronic employee records (OnBase). Duties include the following:•Oversee and process all HR employment records into OnBase. This includes scanning, filing, correcting, and working with employee assigned to quality check.•Process requests from employees for personnel records.•Maintain contact with System Office records management team. Stay current with regard to OnBase upgrades. Provide feedback to System Office leader.4.Coordinate benefits (KHRIS, KCTCS portal). Duties include:•Assist employees with general benefit questions, including qualifying events.•Family Medical Leave point of contact for campus.•Assist employees during open enrollment.•Assist employees with new hire benefits enrollment.•Local KHRIS coordinator.5.Perform other duties as assigned by Senior HR Partner, including committee assignment(s) and professional development.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 1.Bachelor + 2 years experience or equivalent.2.Demonstrated excellent database and computer skills. Must have excellent Excel skills.3.Demonstrated excellent customer service skills/soft skills.4.Demonstrated attention to detail.5.Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in an open office environment and respond to issues and concerns that affect the department.6.Discretion in handling high level, confidential materials related to the department.7.Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
