About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Wiring Assembler to join our manufacturing team and help bring complex switchboard and switchgear systems to life. In this hands-on role, you’ll spend most of your time on the shop floor wiring products built to customer specifications—ranging from straightforward assemblies to highly complex electrical panels.

This is a great opportunity to start small, grow your skills, and advance into more complex builds, with the added bonus of cross‑training opportunities across multiple departments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assemble and wire complex switchboard and switchgear assemblies and subassemblies

  • Install and connect components such as PLCs, circuit monitors, and other advanced electronic devices

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, material lists, and assembly drawings

  • Follow wiring labels, bills of materials, and quality checklists with strong attention to detail

  • Use standard wiring hand tools to cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires safely

  • Perform supporting mechanical assembly tasks as required

  • Progress from basic wiring projects to larger, more complex panels as your skills develop

  • Lift and hold components up to 35 lbs repeatedly during your shift

  • Work collaboratively while staying self‑directed and productive

  • Support production demands through periodic overtime when needed

  • Maintain a strong safety and quality record while following all procedures

What You Bring:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly and wiring

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints

  • Familiarity with common wiring tools (cutting, stripping, crimping, terminating)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 35 lbs

  • Reliable, self-motivated work style with a team-first mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Experience wiring switchgear or switchboard products

  • Wiring certificate from a technical or trade school

  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology or a related field

  • Experience as an electrician or electrician’s assistant

  • Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, HVAC systems, vehicle wiring, or manufacturing

  • Flexibility to work overtime on short notice when customer needs require it

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Stable, established manufacturing operation

  • ✅ Climate-controlled facility for year-round comfort

  • ✅ Clear advancement path from basic wiring to complex systems

  • ✅ Opportunities to cross-train and grow your skill set

  • ✅ Multiple shifts available, including night shift differential

  • ✅ On-site cafeteria for added convenience

  • ✅ Team-focused culture that values reliability, craftsmanship, and long-term growth

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Large, modern manufacturing facility with 600 employees

  • Focus on electrical and mechanical assembly using standard hand tools

  • Work performed while standing and moving throughout the shop floor

  • Available Shifts:

  • A Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

  • B Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM (shift differential applies)
