Wappingers Central School District Substitute Teacher 2025-2026 in Hopewell Junction, New York
The Wappingers Central School District is seeking substitute teaching candidates in all subject areas. Long term assignments may become available to substitutes with NYS teaching certifications throughout the school year.
Certified substitute teachers will be paid $120 per day. Uncertified substitute teachers will be paid $112.00 per day.
Upon completion of the hiring process, including all mandatory paperwork, candidates for all substitute positions must receive WCSD Board approval as a WCSD substitute prior to starting assignment date.
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 60 college credits
Fingerprint clearance through NYS TEACH (NYSED) (https://www.nysed.gov/educator-integrity/fingerprinting) required (Applicant for Employee)
