ND job order 924968 Temporary seasonal position from 4/1/2026 to 12/31/2026 Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery such as planters, air seeders, sprayers, and combines to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Rock roll, tillage, rock pick, spread fertilizer, handle chemicals, and harrow. Tow harvesting equipment. Fill and transport water. ATV and UTV use. Weed control by chemicals. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), wash, and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Yard maintenance such as mowing, weeding eating, and clean up. Shop maintenance such as clean up, carpentry work on houses/garages. Service, maintain and clean farming equipment. Drive semi-trucks with trailer to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Load/Unload grain bins. Any other tasks that may need to be completed on the farm. Schedule may vary depending on crop and field conditions. Work may include weekends, evenings, or overtime as necessary during peak periods. The employer will provide notice of schedule changes as far in advance as possible. Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Employer guarantees to pay at least the AEWR listed above but reserves the right to pay more based on tenure with the company, experience, skill, performance, attendance, and other factors. Driver's license in 30 days. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, fields or housing units. Drinking of alcoholic beverages is prohibited during working hours and otherwise discouraged. At Employer 's request post hire drug screening of employees and criminal background checks will be done at the Employer's expense due to liability of driving trucks on public highways and expensive tools and equipment on the farm.
