Overview
The Commercial Loan Service Specialist 3 will be a member of the Collateral Booking/QR team within the Commercial Loan Services group. The Commercial Loan Services team is responsible for boarding and reviewing collateral and monitoring collateral on our AFSVision loan applications after the loan has closed. The primary function of this role will be in support of the collateral supporting the Huntington National Bank Commercial portfolio. The position will include booking the collateral to the system, lien perfection, ongoing collateral monitoring, and quality review.
Some primary responsibilities of this role are:
Analyze collateral documentation and ensure alignment with the credit approval system.
Maintenance in our AFSVision system including adding and updating collateral records following bank standards and procedures.
Partnership with business segments regarding missing or insufficient documentation.
Perfect lien position through filing or recording of documents (UCC, mortgage, titles, etc)
Monitor report results for any data discrepancies.
Manage incoming workflow of loan documentation to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met or exceeded.
Quality review of the collateral, lien placement and documents
Additional responsibilities may include:
The support of the Collateral Boarding process on our AFSVision application.
Handling of original loan documentation packets and preparation and delivery to the internal document repository system.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2or more years of related experience involving Commercial Loan documentation (i.e, review, documentation preparation, account maintenance)
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
4 or more years of commercial loan experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access -- Ability to create and edit basic Word and Excel documents.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving ability
Prior customer service experience is helpful
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
CLOS and/or Velocity system experience preferable
Ability to manage time effectively
Detail-oriented and thorough
Demonstrated dependability (attendance)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment adhering to established SLA targets and quality requirements

Overtime could be required
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
