Troftgruben Farms Agricultural Equipment Operators in Hoople, North Dakota
Temporary position from 03/01/2026to 12/01/2026 North Dakota Job Order 60 hours/week 12.31/hour Employees will operate and drive a range of farm machinery and equipment to support the seasonal cultivation, planting, care, and harvesting of corn, edible beans, and canola. Responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of tractors, seeders, sprayers, combines, and related implements to prepare fields, plant crops, apply fertilizers and pesticides, irrigate as needed, and harvest mature crops. Workers will perform routine service and maintenance on equipment, including checking fluid levels, cleaning machinery, and making minor adjustments to ensure proper function during field operations. Additional duties involve manually supporting crop care activities such as removing weeds, monitoring for pest presence, and assisting with loading, unloading, and storage of harvested produce. Seasonal work requires flexibility in hours and duties based on weather and crop conditions. Work may also include cleaning of grain bins, yard maintenance, and general upkeep of farm structures and tools. No experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level I Entry Level Pursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level I Entry Level, indicating that the job requires limited experience and routine supervision consistent with entry-level duties.
