About the Opportunity
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a board eligible / board certified Anesthesiologist for a per diem employed position to join our team on the island of O‘ahu.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for obstetric patients, including labor analgesia, cesarean delivery anesthesia, and management of obstetric emergencies
Lead and collaborate with CRNAs in a care-team model to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality anesthesia services
Manage high-risk obstetric cases and medically complex patients, coordinating care with obstetrics, maternal-fetal medicine, and neonatal teams
Participate in call coverage and provide urgent/emergent obstetric anesthesia services as part of a shared team-based schedule
Contribute to departmental quality, safety, and performance-improvement initiatives that advance patient care and operational excellence
Practice evidence-based medicine while maintaining flexibility to meet the evolving needs of a busy tertiary care environment

About each facility on Oahu Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. Straub Benioff Medical Center Straub Benioff Medical Center is a 159-bed medical center in Honolulu. With nearly 600 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub Benioff provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology.
