Hawaii Pacific Health Physician - Neonatal Hospitalist in Honolulu, Hawaii

About the Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our team as a Neonatal hospitalist on the island of O‘ahu.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be involved in delivery room and clinical patient care in the neonatal intensive care un

  • Participation in education of trainees through the University of Hawai‘i, John A. Burns School of Medicine

  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary care team which includes neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and pediatric sub-specialists

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree

  • Be eligible for Hawai‘i Medical License

  • Be eligible or hold a current unrestricted Federal DEA certificate

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai‘i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit medical center delivers an average of 6,000 babies per year and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi‘olani. The medical center is home to the Kapi‘olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi‘olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.
