Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The wide array of services offered at this beautiful state-of-the-art center include osteoporosis screening, massage therapy, physical therapy, ultrasound, bariatric weight loss solutions, patient education, mammography and breast biopsies.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will help to provide our signature compassionate, high quality care to patients and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of patient care activities as needed by the department. We are looking for someone with warm, sensitive patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing. Current Hawaii LPN license. Current BLS/HCP card.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience in area of specialty or successful completion of area specific training program. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 Coding. Experience with online medical software systems.
