Hawaii Pacific Health Licensed Practical Nurse - Artesian, General Surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Over 1,400 employees and more than 700 physicians provide specialty care at Kapi'olani. The hospital is home to the Kapi'olani Women’s Center and the Women’s Cancer Center, and offers numerous community programs and services, such as specialty pediatric clinics, the Kapi'olani Child Protection Center and the Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

Kapi‘olani's Women’s Center and Breast Center at Artesian Plaza is committed to providing Hawai‘i's women with convenient, coordinated health care, along with the support to play an active role in their health. The wide array of services offered at this beautiful state-of-the-art center include osteoporosis screening, massage therapy, physical therapy, ultrasound, bariatric weight loss solutions, patient education, mammography and breast biopsies.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will help to provide our signature compassionate, high quality care to patients and their families. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of patient care activities as needed by the department. We are looking for someone with warm, sensitive patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Pay Range: 32.82 - 34.55 USD per hour

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing. Current Hawaii LPN license. Current BLS/HCP card.

Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience in area of specialty or successful completion of area specific training program. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 Coding. Experience with online medical software systems.
