Queen's Health System IT Project Manager - IT CARELink Admin_QHS (Full-Time, 40 Hours, Day Shift) in Honolulu, Hawaii
RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work involves support of multiple applications systems in assigned project(s)/area(s).
• Independently supports intermediate to complex systems in assigned project(s)/area(s).
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information systems and user needs to determine most effective solutions to meet user’s requirements.
• Designs, tests, and implements new systems and/or modifies existing systems to meet assignment/project’s goals and objectives.
• Manages, monitors, and completes activities to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
• Functions as the lead in coordinating and managing assigned projects and work assignments.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Continuous: seeing, speaking, repetitive arm/hand motions, sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.
• Frequent: standing, sitting, walking, finger dexterity, hearing.
• Occasional: stooping/bending, carrying usual weight of 12 pounds, reaching above shoulder level.
• Operates computer equipment and copy machines.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• Work schedule includes providing 24 hours/7 days a week support as required.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) field or related field; four (4) years experience in IT demonstrating technical knowledge to independently design, test, and implement intermediate to complex business or clinical applications systems.
• Training in project management preferred.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• In addition to the education requirement, three (3) years experience to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of administrative, financial or clinical processes and operations as needed in area of assignment.
• Prior experience in leading projects and/or assignments.
• Prior IT project management experience preferred.
