DELIVERY DRIVER
The Delivery Driver facilitates field operations by ensuring the safe, accurate, and punctual transport of materials, equipment, and assets between jobsites, the company yards, and various vendor locations. This role is essential in maintaining operational standards through the upkeep and organization of the company yard and office facilities.
Delivery Driver duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.
Pickup and deliver project materials, equipment, tools, parts, sensitive documents, project plans, timesheets and assets between jobsites, the company yards, and various vendor locations.
2.
Maintain accurate delivery logs for project materials, small tools, and equipment.
3.
Maintain and service small tools while providing general support to the Equipment Department.
4.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized company yard by performing regular cleaning, maintenance, organization and grounds keeping.
5.
Ensure a clean office environment by performing weekly cleaning tasks every Friday, including vacuuming, mopping and general trash/recycling removal.
6.
Perform general service, washing and maintenance duties to ensure company fleet vehicles are in optimal condition.
Skills and abilities: Knowledge of local traffic laws, road safety regulations, ability to operate a vehicle safely in diverse weather and traffic conditions, proficiency in using navigation apps to determine most efficient routes and avoid delays, ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely deliveries, ability to carry 50 lbs, sit for long periods and climb stairs. Accuracy in filling out daily logs, delivery reports and maintaining proper paperwork. Accuracy in checking orders, verifying invoices and ensuring correct items are delivered. Proficiency in Microsoft excel, word and Google sheets preferred.
