Marine Blaster / Blaster Helper (Experienced) – U.S. Navy Contract
Industry: Ship Repair / Corrosion Mitigation
Aerotek Enterprises is seeking experienced Marine Blasters and Skilled Blaster Helpers to support ongoing U.S. Navy corrosion mitigation and ship preservation projects in Hawaii. This work supports high‑priority Navy initiatives focused on fleet sustainment and readiness.
This position is intended for candidates with prior marine, shipyard, or industrial blasting experience who can work efficiently in active Navy environments.
Job Duties
Perform abrasive blasting on shipboard steel and structural surfaces
Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, chipping, and cleaning
Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment and containment
Assist with masking, environmental controls, and jobsite cleanup
Work aboard active Navy vessels, piers, dry docks, and industrial marine spaces
Follow strict NAVSEA safety, environmental, and quality standards
Support corrosion mitigation and preservation scopes on schedule
Required Experience & Qualifications
✅ Prior marine, shipyard, or industrial blasting experience
✅ Familiarity with corrosion control and surface preparation standards
✅ Experience using blasting equipment, hand tools, and power tools
✅ Comfortable working in confined spaces, aboard ships, and at heights
✅ Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance
✅ Must be eligible for DBIDS (U.S. Navy base access)
✅ Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a high‑tempo shipyard environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
