Citigroup Senior Business Execution Lead, JANA Services, SVP - Hong Kong in Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Job Description:
This role is a Senior Business Execution Lead role within the Services team which integrates client solutions across Liquidity Management Services, Payments, Trade and Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services and Issuer Services. This role has dual-remit across 1) Japan, Asia North & Australia (JANA) Services Cluster, and 2) Hong Kong Country Services teams.
This role reports directly to the JANA Services Business Execution Head (COO), deputizing for the COO where needed in Cluster and Global forums, and supports the JANA Services Cluster Head and its ExCo. The role is based in Hong Kong.
This is a unique, highly visible and impactful leadership role which is accountable for the delivery of strategic priorities for the business, and drives execution disciplines across Sales, Product and Enablement functions. The role requires excellent communication skills at senior and working levels across functions and geographies, and requires self-starter attitude, outcomes orientated and execution mindset to succeed.
Key responsibilities:
Support the JANA Services Head and ExCo in formulating client growth strategy contributing to priorities for Citi and Services business
Support JANA Services COO in global project delivery, often requiring discretion and senior management/leadership liaison
Drive key project execution to required timelines and budget – e.g. regulatory projects, real estate optimization
Ensure sales execution discipline and excellence to drive key strategic initiatives to success
Manage a business execution team, direct and indirect, to drive outcomes and enable collective success as a BE team
Act as key liaison and connector to fulfil business performance reporting and analysis to senior management within JANA and with global stakeholders – e.g. business reviews, strategic initiatives progress tracking, key projects oversight
Manage and support resource allocation and recruitment processes – e.g. support senior business leaders on recruitment process, support resource business cases, manage operational processes per prevailing policy requirements
Champion Employee Engagement initiatives as tone-from-the-top, and enable grass-roots initiatives / sharing of best practices
Ensure key operating governance processes are smoothly running including agenda setting, action item follow-ups, townhalls
Active sponsorship and management of the cluster Early Careers Program (graduate program) in partnership with Early Careers team – this includes summer internship recruitment and selection, oversight of program deliverables, enabling two-way feedback for continuous improvement
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
10+ years experience in the industry and preferably in a business execution/strategy role.
Experience managing limited resources that are requested to offer outstanding results.
Agility to manage multiple deliverables in short timeframes, leveraging resources and teams across the network.
Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.
Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission oriented, and self-directed.
Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.
Strategic and goal-oriented thinker.
Effective interpersonal skills – including teamwork and organizational skills.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.
Education: Bachelor’s/University degree at a minimum
